Recommended Tools & Products
Welcome to the recommended tools and products page! Below are some of the utilities I use almost every day in business and in my opinion are some of the very best in the industry!
---
Robo Form® is the password manager and form filler tool that I use and depend on very heavily for my logins and form fill-ins, I have a license on my main computer, one on my laptop and an "everywhere" account so it constantly can be synchronized between the 2 computers which is extremely handy as you can imagine!
And if I am somewhere without my computer I can go to www.online.roboform.com and log in to my RoboForm account from any web browser and still have access all my accounts.
Very, very good tool and highly recommended; click below and run a trial and see for yourself how very good this tool is:
My Fax® is the efax (fax to email & email to fax service) solution I use to receive a majority of my faxes it has worked better for me then any of the other efax services that I have used in the past including Ring Central© : Now why is it better?
#1 You can send fax documents straight from your email on any device (including smart phones ) with or with out attachments and the body of the email also faxes as a cover sheet (a lot of other efax solutions do not do fax the content in the body of the email)
#2 They even have an app for the Blackberry and IPhone so you can see what faxes came in and also send via that app. They also have html code that I can put on my website for people to fax me directly and MyFax also has "print to fax software" that links with your account so you can fax straight from your computer or laptop with an internet connection anywhere..very nice!
#3 You can set up to 5 email address to send from, you can also be notified via a text message if a fax came in, they will come in as attachments to your email as either a tiff or pdf and you can have it forwarded to another email address as well.
Finally #4 It is very cost effective, I pay less for this service then I would for some of the other efax services out there so it is very cost effective for me to use: Click below and run a trial of this to see how good it is:
DropBox® vs Sugar Sync®? While Sugar Sync is more versatile to use as far as selecting folders and etc. but Drop Box is far more simple to use I use this service and share the folders with a few of my clients and they drop files and it syncs or uploads to my folders on my computers, It has 2 main folders when you first set it up the "public" folder allows you to put any file in it and right click and get a public link and share this with your friends and associates, The next folder is what is called "photos" in this folder you can put in a file full of pictures and then right click and get the public gallery link, to which you can share in an album style of view of your pictures.
Also another very neat thing is when you use JotForm® you can actually link up with a folder inside DropBox so people can upload files and they show up in DropBox ..Very neat! [see the example below]
Click here to give Drop Box a try! ...Very good program and a fast way to sync stuff between computers!

I use a sync/backup service called SugarSync© www.sugarsync.com that backs up my
selected files on a remote server and then merges them with a selected folder on
my laptop (and visa versa from laptop to desktop)
For example when I am away from the office and have my laptop in use at a client location with a QBW file open. I can edit, update and do their bookkeeping and then when I close the file it immediately updates to the server and replaces that clients file with the old one in the my docs folder on my desktop at the office. So when I get home and open that QBW file it has already changed and updated to the latest version (this may not be quite so practical for larger files over 25MB’s? it still would work but would have a little more download time depending on your connection speed.) Also I never want to open the same file at the same time from both machines or it saves 2 copies and that can get a bit confusing and I also want to make sure the changed files have updated from the laptop and downloaded to the desktop before opening them and continuing working and you can easily see this from the icon in the system tray.
